the time has come for me to begin my journey.
for those that don’t know, i am planning on moving to Canada and with such a move, i have decided to work on a site to begin chronicling my efforts to move to our neighbours to the north. mind you, this isn’t going to be an overnight move. i’m still a good year and a half away (as you can see from the countdown on this page). but when i move, it will be quite an adventure.
to begin with, i won’t be flying up north. oh no… i have a car i need to bring with me. so i figured if i’m driving, i’m gonna make a trip out of this! and a kick ass road trip at that! during this road trip, i plan on stopping a quite a few cities, such as ???, ???, ???, and ???. what’s that? oh… right. you see. i don’t plan on telling anyone where exactly i will be going (except those that need to know for safety/emergency reasons). it makes it more fun that way! (those that can read a map probably have a very good idea where i’ll be going) 😀
speaking of making things more fun, a person who i think will be of incredible help in this transition will be accompanying me (i hope). i plan on flying my friend Jackie from Toronto (along with her friend) down here to Houston. she has really been wanting to visit Houston so this would be the perfect time and opportunity for that to happen. but it won’t be just here she’ll visit. i plan on making my away around Texas, making stops in Austin, San Antonio, and Dallas.
like i said, this is still quite some time off. for something like this, you wanna plan ahead and get everything in order (and more important figure out how much something like this is gonna cost ya). but this is the start. on this site, you’ll hear me rant about filling out forms, learning the metric system, and. and as the time grows closer, you’ll start seeing more content, including videos and pictures of the journey. as i said…
