Dream: Cookies

My brother and I are driving to the mall because he has to get cookies before the next episode of Saturday Night Live. I ask him why, to which he responds by saying a line supposedly from a cookie related sketch from the show. I still have no idea what he’s talking about.

We park at the mall. I walk toward the entrance when I realize I forgot to close the car door. My brother also reaches into the car to take the faceplate off the car radio. He leaves the faceplate in the seat and takes something else behind it. The car has an open roof, so I ask him if he’s sure about leaving it. He responds it’s fine.

We enter the mall which happens to have a few cookie stores right next to each other. The first is a kiosk selling ice cream sandwiches. The next is selling typical mass produced cookies. I direct my brother away from them to a third store that sells fresh, made that day cookies.

We look around at the various pastries, including cakes, ice cream cakes, and cookies. Everything is sold in individual slices or bundles. I’m trying to decide which bundle of cookies to get.

I finally decided on a bag of peanut butter cookies. I’m looking around at everything else. The place is busy and some of the aisles are narrow. I reach my arm out with the bag of cookies to get around someone. My arm barely goes outside the store perimeter which sets off an alarm. I apologize to a nearby worker.

Then I woke up.

(There was a party earlier about winning a free Power Rangers toy but that’s all I remember about that.)
