I’m currently stuck at a train station just outside of Buffalo, NY as I worked my way back from Canada to Texas. I have a lot on my mind right now, so to try and keep myself occupied, I figured I’d write a little about what I plan on doing in the future.
Now that I’ve slept on it, I figured I would post a few thoughts on E3 2013.
I should preface with a couple of things: 1. I’m not a “hardcore” gamer. I barely consider myself a gamer at all. I’ve definitely transitioned into casually playing games now. So sports and shooters are not my thing. Not to mention there’s only so much time in the day. 2. I don’t have the means to buy any console in the near future. I usually have to wait for a price drop or a used console as I’m not exactly made of money. So a lot of these views are from the sideline. 3. I’m far from a journalist, blogger, etc. So don’t expect hard hitting, thought out opinions here. Just a few quick thoughts.
A wonderful selection of games if I do say so. These auctions end 30 minutes after the Nintendo Wii auction mentioned in the previous post. If you’re looking for specific times, that would be next Thursday (July 8) around 10:30 pm Eastern / 7:30 pm Pacific.
If you want to know more about these games and the auctions, why not visit their individual pages on eBay? You can find all that info after the break.
Now let’s get into some gaming! And this one is pretty awesome, in my opinion, but I may be a little bias. 🙂
What’s being auctioned off here is a Nintendo Wii with all its original accessories (Wiimote, Nunchuck, A/V Cable, Power Adapter) and manuals. Pretty ho-hum sounding, eh? Well, there is where I sweeten the pot. I’m also throwing in some additional accessories. You’ll also get a 2 GB SD Card, a Classic Controller, a Wireless Sensor Bar, a Component Cable, another Component Cable, and another Power Adapter. Not bad, eh?
But let’s keep piling it on. I’m also throwing in some downloadable games. How about that! What games? Well, how about…
Virtual Console
NES:
Legend of Zelda, Ninja Gaiden II: The Dark Sword of Chaos, Punch-Out!! featuring Mr. Dream
SNES:
Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, Super Mario World, Super Metroid
N64:
Paper Mario, Super Mario 64
TG16:
Neutopia
WiiWare:
Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, Mega Man 9, Mega Man 10, Strong Bad’s Cool Game for Attractive People (Episodes 1 and 2)
How awesome is that? If you want it, you better get to bidding. Auction ends next Thursday (July 8) around 10:00 pm Eastern / 7:00 pm Pacific. You can bid on it over on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230494543278). And if you thought that was great, the next post is just going to make this post that much more tempting.

Sadly, I already have to put my Wii Health Workout fun on hold for a bit. It came to my attention that a WONDERFUL infection was on my back that needed to get removed. I know… how do I not know there was an infection. 1.) I don’t really look at my back. 2.) It didn’t start hurting until this weekend.
I went to the doctor, they cut me open, and now I have a hole in my back filled with cotton and I’m drugged up on plenty of goodness! I’ll have to wait until I’ve healed up 100%, but I didn’t get an estimate on how long that would be. So, I hope you kids have fun, cus I’m not moving too much for the next week or two. Joy…
So, I didn’t update yesterday. I have a good reason for it! I was busy and plus I didn’t wanna start playing and get sweaty as my parents wanted to go out to dinner last night, but didn’t tell me when. But I’m still down a pound! So no complaints.
On a side note, I am doing better at not snacking throughout the day, so that’ll help with getting my eating under control. Now to just get some better food in the house.
