last night, i had this dream. i really don’t know how to describe it, but i can say what happened.
from what i can remember, it started with me sitting on the ground outside across the way from a parking garage working on my laptop when TechTV’s Leo Laporte walked up behind me to tell me about something. i don’t know what he said, but either way, i gathered up my laptop (bitching about having to grab my power supply and wondering why everything can’t be wireless) and followed him.
Upon following him, we arrived at some kind of big dinner gathering for something. couldn’t tell ya the reasoning behind it. all i know is that my family was there along with other TechTV personalities Kevin Rose and Sarah Lane. well, i got my plate of food but had trouble finding a seat. i couldn’t tell you if i got a seat or not because i don’t know. anyhoo, everyone finished eating and got up to leave to do something, except for me since i’m such a SLOW eater it seems. i complain about this about not being fair, but some person told me i couldn’t go unless i finished.
i assume i finsihed because i remember looking outside a window and seeing Taking Back Sunday’s lead singer Adam Lazzara running around outside playing with a dog. well, if you consider having the dog grabbing onto your jeans and dragging you around “playing". i have no idea really what happened next, but i do remember that a school had just let out so a bunch of kids were trying to make their way out. as they were leaving, i was just pushing my way through the crowd singing (i’m sure more like screaming since i can’t sing) tbs’s “you’re so last summer” as i walked into the school.
while still singing, i came across some kind of plague or something. i don’t know what it said or anything, but at this point i either tried to kick the crap out of it or do a backflip off of it. again, couldn’t tell ya.
as i walk out of the school, i see adam walking out as well. at this point, i hear “hey psychic.” i never realized i was a psychic. anyway, it’s adam and he comes over to me and thanks me for something earlier that i don’t remember. he then invites me to hang out with his family to play a game of kickball and spent time with his friends as they terrorize people at astroworld. i respond by saying i appreciate the offer and be honored to join them.
and then i woke up.
and the meaning of all of this? your guess is as good as mine.
