I too dream of a day I can drive into the sun!
(As always, these dreams are a little sketchy.) I know for sure this dream took place in Canada. From what I can remember, I along with a couple of co-workers (who were there on business of some sort) were either sitting at a food court or a hotel bar. I’d say food court because of where it picks up. We were there eating when a referee came up and just started eating my burger I ordered. I just told the ref that it was cold, but it seemed it didn’t matter. After the ref walked away, my co-worker commented that it costed him 15 bucks to get into the game next door (at the arena?), at which point I remind him $15 is nothing up here (of course, in reality, it’s not really all THAT much different).
I leave my co-workers and go away with another group of people in which I go in one direction and another other people go in another. It appears I have an interest in one of the people in the other group because as we’re walking, I told the people that I need to be with the other people. The guy in this group tells me that I better run because relationships only last 10 more days from that point (????). That’s when I kicked off the cheesiest line ever and said “Then I’m going to make this the best 10 days in my life.”
I run off to meet up with the girl in the other group that I had my eye on. Now, I’ll have to assume that there was something going on between the two of us, but the complete connection hadn’t been made yet. I find it really stupid of me to be chasing someone that showned no interest in return (well, if THAT doesn’t sound too oddly familiar 😛 Either way, I finally catch up with the group, but the floor must have been really slick because I couldn’t slow down. I go sliding face first into one of the shops and then land on my back. And that’s pretty much where it ends.

Not really, but in order to keep up with my friends on LiveJournal as well as to try and make use of this MySpace thing, I now have cross-posting capabilities from my web site. So whatever I post here will also be posted on MySpace. Now, I’m not sure if it’s like LiveJournal where I make a change to an entry on my blog it will also update on LiveJournal, but this is all an experiment for now, so let’s see how this goes.
Oh yeah. A note to MySpace people. If you’re wanting to see my posts previous to this date, you’re gonna have to go to my main blog. I’m not gonna import all my posts to here. That’s just way too much work. 😛

It’s reasons like this I won’t get ahead in life. 😛
As I’ve mentioned, we’re training this week for the new contract I’m on at work. We’re learning things like Lotus Notes, Microsoft Project and Visio, and a new ticketing system. The problem with training is that I feel like I’m in High School all over again (except these teachers are really cool and have a major sense of humor). So, instead of paying attention to the lesson, I decide to take things in my own direction (as pictured to the right).
Nothing like taking a several hundred dollar program used in a professional manner to many different aspects of businesses and turning it into my personal Mr. Potato Head. 😀
(And yes, I actually was sitting outside the Training Room eating a cookie and drinking Hi-C before I drew this.)
I always figured working in an office environment would be more like Dilbert. But I don’t see talking animals here.
Today I started my new contract at my job. For the next two weeks, I get to learn everything there is about another company and how they work. It’s not too bad. Come in at 8. Leave at 5. That’s some pretty normal hours.
… until training ends, that is.
This new contract is for a company that is overseas. Therefore, their hours or operation are going to be just a little bit offset from what we have here. Therefore, I will actually be working from 1:30 in the morning to 10:00 in the morning. That’s right. I get to work the graveyard. Everyone will be leaving the bars and I will be crawling into work.
Not to mention this contract is going to be super secure (which is why I’m not naming names as who the contract is with specifically). We’ll be locked away in our own section away from everyone else, the F.B.I. is suppose to be taking our fingerprints, and at this point, I have no idea how locked down our computers will be.
It’s not all too terribly bad. I will at least be paid a Shift Differention, which will be useful as I continue to attempt saying up to move north (also with Christmas around the corner). So, if I keep this up for the next year, year and a half, I should hopefully have more than enough saved.
I didn’t have a life to begin with, people. Besides, going to bed at 3, 4 in the afternoon isn’t too bad. It’ll let me know what living in Alaska would be like. Not that I have an desire to really know what that would be like.

I wished I could solve a mystery, or maybe rewrite history.
So, I decided to jump back into that whole social networking site stuff thingy. So, I’ll go with what everyone else appears to be using, that being MySpace.
It’s always tough filling out these profile questions because you want something to stick out that makes you unique. Like “I’d Like to Meet”. There’s no one in particular I’d like to meet. Except maybe Scrooge McDuck. He’s got a freakin’ Money Bin!! Plus it’s be nice to know how on earth he swims in money. Hmmm… I guess I just answered that question.
I’m gonna try to finish figuring this out. Take a gander. And did you know that Jon Lovitz has a MySpace profile?
It was either this or that stupid Jamster bug thing. We all lose in the end.
Recently, one of my friends (maybe more of an acquaintance now?) was in a foul mood and make mention that I can be annoying at times. I couldn’t help by agree with her.
It’s true. I can be annoying at times. And it’s something I’ve known for some time now. But I guess that’s just the way I am. And it’s not going to change. That’s the sad part.
Sometimes I wonder if it’s just because I’m starved for attention as all I do is sit around in my apartment after work doing nothing. The solution to this would be to get out and socialize, right? But if I’m annoying, how would that come off in public. I’ve already been told I can come off as an ass on a first meeting. So, it would be an endless loop in which I could never rise out of.
I’ve also noticed that I tend to overanalyze things.

This has nothing to do with what I’m talking about, but my shirt rocks either way.
With my planned journey to the Great White North, I have to say I have kinda put myself into a bit of bind when it comes to the prospects of dating. Yeah, sure, I know. It’s not like I’ve even attempted to do so anytime in the past few… well, it’s been a while. Either way, even if I could find someone, I’d have to end it within the next year and a half. That is unless my significant other would want to move up north with me, which would be great! Hell, it would be nice to find someone like that right now so they could move in with me and so we could save up money to move.
But once we get up there, what if we break up? Then she’d be stuck up there because she didn’t really wanna move up there to begin with. She was just saying that because she wanted to be supportive. Then I’d feel really bad. Of course, I’d have nothing to lose because I’d already be where I wanted to be. oh well… whatever… just something else to think about that will now disappear into the back of my head just like …. that. 😛

I’ve decided to go ahead and move over my Canada site and make it the main design for my site because it’s still a long way to go and didn’t really deserve a dedicated subsite just yet. By the time I actually start the move all the content will most likely be listed on this part of the site anyway, so oh well.
Comments are back on my site, for those that don’t use LiveJournal to post comments. It’ll be nice to see what people have to say. Comments will be moderated, but that’s just to keep Comment Spam out. I won’t hold back any negative comments because people are allowed to voice their opinions. Mind you, if it’s just completely vulgar and doesn’t actually make any points, then I’ll probably won’t post it. All I ask of people that are being negative is to make their case.
The listening section is every so slowly being updated with my virtual collection since technically everything I have is pretty much a digital album. watching hasn’t changed much. Still shows the most recent movies I’ve rented from Blockbuster (which might be switching over to Netflix, depending how much Blockbuster ups their rates). The gallery still isn’t up because I haven’t taken the time to learn how to use Templates with Gallery2. elsewhere has been fixed up to try and display more links per row.
A new section by the name of more… has been added to list items that just didn’t have a home, such as my hotness list. Other things will fill it soon as well, I’m sure.
